This beginner-friendly class is designed for brand-new players and anyone looking for a refresher. We’ll walk you through the game step by step, covering the cards, setup, rules, melds, scoring, and basic strategy before putting it all together with hands-on play.

Our goal is to give you the foundation and confidence you need to start playing Canasta with friends or join us for future Canasta play at The Tile Society.

No experience necessary. We provide the cards and everything you need to learn.
